Dance your way through Middle School
Ausdance SA has responded to requests from teachers for more ideas for the Dance Year 7 & 8 units of study.
We asked two experts Katrina Constantopoulos and Natalie Linke to share their units and answer any questions. Amanda Kimber is the education officer who has led the units of dance in development and is prepared to answer any questions and share resources. Carclew offers many opportunities for teachers and Ella Pak Poy wants to share their resources with teachers

Sports Vouchers
Ausdance SA can help YOUR eligibility for Sports Vouchers as we are a peak dance organisation. From 1 January 2019, primary school aged children can access a $100 Sports Voucher towards the cost of dance.
Is my dance group eligible?
Not-for-profit clubs and associations must be incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1985.
Private dance providers (for-profit businesses) must be a registered business and registered with a peak dance association or Recreation SA (YOUR AUSDANCE SA MEMBERSHIP MEETS THIS REQUIREMENT)
Must be child safe compliant (verified with the Department of Education).
Must offer a minimum 8 weeks of semi-structured activity
How do I become a provider?
Become an Ausdance SA member
Register as a provider online www.sportsvouchers.sa.gov.au (click on the Provider Registration tab)
Don’t delay; be ready to start offering this from 1 January 2019 to your students.
